The learned Counsel for the petitioner has moved this application seeking interim bail to the petitioner on the ground that the marriage of the petitioner's sister is going to be held on 10.06.2022 and the petitioner wants to attend the above said function. This case was registered for the offences under Sections 341, 294(b), 366, 376(D) and 506(ii) I.P.C., in S.C.No.67 of 2022 in Crime No.1950 of 2021. The petitioner is in judicial custody from 13.11.2021.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would also confirm the above said factum and would submit that the petitioner may be granted interim bail with certain conditions.

Without going into the merits of the case and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant interim bail to the petitioner from 09.06.2022 at 04.00 p.m., to 11.06.2022 at 10.00a.m. Accordingly, the petitioner namely Karthick @ Mouli Karthick, S/o Muthuramalingam, Melamadai, Madurai (now confined at Central Prison, Madurai) is ordered to be released bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) with one surety for a like sum to the satisfaction of the Superintendent, Central Prison, Madurai.

The Superintendent, Central Prison, Madurai is hereby directed to release the petitioner on executing surety to his satisfaction forthwith. It is made clear that the petitioner shall surrender before the concerned Prison on or before 11.06.2022 at 10.00 a.m., without fail. Further the petitioner/accused shall be released on bail with escort for attending the marriage function of his sister which is to be held on 10.06.2022. The petitioner shall bear the expenses for the escort.

The Superintendent of Central Prison, Madurai is directed to file a compliance report before the regular Court on 13.06.2022.

Post the matter before this Court on 13.06.2022.
