Judgment
This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging disobedience of the order dated 01.05.2019 passed by this Court in DBCWP
No.1308/2019. The operative portion whereof reads as under: -
“4. Accordingly, this writ petition is allowed in the light of decision of this Court dated 02nd April, 2019 rendered in Anita’s case (supra). The
order impugned dated 24.12.2018 cancelling appointment of the petitioner on the post of “Safai Karamchari†passed by the Executive Officer,
Municipal Board, Bilara, is quashed. The petitioner shall be entitled for all consequential benefits.â€
Reply to contempt petition has been filed on behalf of respondent/contemnor taking a categorical stand that pursuant to order passed the petitioner has
been re-appointed with all consequential benefits. The details of the arrears of salary paid to the petitioner, is also furnished alongwith reply.
In this view of the matter, in our considered opinion, the order disobedience whereof is alleged in the contempt petition, stands complied with.
We are not inclined to proceed any further with the contempt proceedings. The contempt proceedings are, accordingly, dropped. Notices are
discharged.
