Judgment

Heard Mr. Meet D.Pansuria, learned advocate the applicant and Ms. Monali Bhatt, learned APP for the State.
The present application is moved by the applicant for fixing early date of hearing of the main matter being Special Criminal Application No.5448 of
2019 for quashing of FIR being I-C.R. No.4/2018 registered with Jamnagar A.C.B. Police Station under section 7 and 13(2) of the Prevention of
Corruption Act, 1988, dated 11.09.2018 .
Mr. Meet D.Pansuria, learned advocate for the applicant submits that the alleged trap was not successful and till today no chargesheet has been
filed and therefore the early hearing of the main matter would protect the interest of the applicant, consistent with the object to be achieved under the
Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
Considering the nature of the allegation and the plea of the learned advocate for the applicant, the prayer for fixing early date of hearing of the main
matter is required to be considered.
Hence, the present application is allowed. The main matter being Special Criminal Application No.5448 of 2019 is fixed for hearing on 16.07.2021.
