Judgment

Heard Mr. Nipul H. Gondalia, learned advocate for the applicant.
Learned APP Mr. K.M. Antani, is directed to place on record any administrative instructions or any guidelines issued to the Police station, if at all it is there, to register the FIR based on information received through the private informers providing several names, on the next date of hearing.
Considering the FIR based on information, 6 names have been shown in it and the place where prohibition articles are being kept and about to be dispatched. Despite the said information, without cordoning the said area, the raid is carried out, facilitating the persons gathered there giving slip to the Police, and thereafter, the raiding party could seize the prohibition articles, as mentioned in the FIR.
Superintendent of Police is hereby directed to go through the contents of the FIR and monitor the investigation and examine possibility of the persons gathered at the place of incident, as per the information, could be rounded up at the spot or not and report it to this Court in a sealed cover. Hence, stand over to 31.03.2023.
