Judgment
Harnaresh Singh Gill, J
Case is taken up for hearing through video conferencing. Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 139 dated
18.8.2020, registered under Sections 255, 256, 257, 258, 259, 260, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 472 IPC, Police Station City Moga, District Moga.
Vide order dated 01.10.2020, passed by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioner was granted interim bail and was directed to join the
investigation.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to the order dated 01.10.2020, the petitioner has joined the investigation.
Learned State counsel, on instructions from Sub Inspector Lakhwinder Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined investigation and is no more
required for any further investigation.
In view of the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 01.10.2020 granting
interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
