Mr. Justice S. Ravindra Bhat, J.—Issue notice. Mr.Sanjay Lao, APP for the State/respondent, accepts notice and states that the application can be disposed off at this stage. The applicant/appellant seeks interim bail; his appeal was heard and reserved for judgment on 4th May, 2012. It is argued that the applicant''s sister''s child died on 13th July, 2012 and he would like to spend some time with her.

2.

Having considered the submissions and the averments, we are of the opinion that no case for interim bail has been made out. However, the applicant should be permitted to visit his sister, under the custody of police personnel, for one day.

3.

The Jail Superintendent shall ensure this course of action. Visit shall be on any one day between 10.00 AM and 4.00 PM, convenient to the Jail Authority; the applicant shall report back to the Jail the same evening.

4.

The application is allowed in the above terms. A copy of this order shall be sent to the concerned Jail Superintendent for due compliance.
