Judgment
Kurian Joseph, C.J.—Both these cases pertain to the termination of the petitioners, who have been working as Bus Sahayak in the Himachal Road Transport Corporation. According to the petitioners, they have been discontinued on verbal orders. Learned Counsel for the Corporation points out that there is a provision for arbitration and the Managing Director is the Arbitrator. According to the petitioners, posts of Bus Sahayak are still lying vacant and the Corporation is in dire need of those posts.
There will be a direction to the Managing Director to take a final decision in the matter, as sole Arbitrator within a period of one month from today. In order to enable the Managing Director to dispose of the matter, as above, in arbitration, both the petitioners will appear before the Managing Director on 30th August, 2010 at 11.00 a.m. We make it clear that the Managing Director will pass a speaking order in the process.
Both the writ petitions are disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
