Judgment
It appears that against the same judgment of the High Court two Special Leave Petitions were filed, one being SLP No. 276/86 and another SLP 2225 of 1985. SLP No. 2225 of 1985 was placed before a Bench presided over by Hon'ble Mr. Justice A.P. Sen and one of us and it was dismissed on 25th November, 1985. The SLP No. 276 of 1946, preferred against the same judgment of the High Court was placed before another Bench of this Court to which also one of us was a party. By an order dated 14th July, 1986 this Court directed reduction of the sentence from seven years to three years rigorous imprisoment.
These two orders are contrary to each other. Therefore, review application allowed and the order passed by this Court in SLP No. 2225 of 1985 is recalled and it is substituted by this order reducing the sentence of seven years RI to three years RI. We also make it clear that this order will cover the cases of all the accused in the judgment under appeal whether they are before this Court or not.
The SLP is accordingly disposed of.
