Honourable Mr. Justice D. Hariparanthaman

1.

Heard both sides.

2.

The petitioner was working as Child Welfare Organizer. Based on the certificate produced that she passed S.S.L.C., she was promoted as Rural Welfare Officer on 06.10.1995. A proposal was sent from District Social Welfare Officer, Vellore in the letter dated 05.12.1997 for regularisation of the service of the petitioner. It was found that the S.S.L.C. Mark-sheet was a bogus one. Hence, the charge sheet was issued and enquiry was held. Based on the findings of the enquiry, she was reverted to her original post namely Child Welfare Organizer. The same was questioned by the petitioner.

3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner is not able to point out any infirmity in the proceedings.

4.

The reversion is based on the finding that the petitioner produced a bogus certificate. The certificate was the basis for granting promotion. Once, the certificate was found to be a bogus one, she was correctly reverted to her original position. I do not find any infirmity in the impugned order dated 04.07.2001 reverting her to her original position. Hence, I do not find any merit in the writ petition. The writ petition fails and hence it is dismissed. No costs.
