The Writ Petition was filed seeking the following reliefs:

I. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate order or direction directing the 2nd respondent to send an observer to the State championships to be conducted by the 2nd petitioner for selection of the players for the National Championships to be conducted as per Ext.P9 and Ext.P9(A) notices.

II. Such other writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper to grant in the circumstances of the case.

Now the Writ Petitioner has sought for a review of the judgment. It was dismissed on the basis of the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent that the petitioners in the Writ Petition are not the office bearers recognised by the Kerala State Sports Council. It was submitted that one Mr.Thomas Philip and A.K.Muralidharan are the President and Secretary respectively. On the basis of the said statement, the Writ Petition was dismissed observing that petitioners do not have any locus standi to file the Writ petition.

The Writ Petitioner has filed this Review Petition pointing that there was no election so as to recognize the aforesaid persons as office bearers.

In view of the aforesaid disputed question of fact, I find it appropriate to recall the judgment and to post the Writ Petition for hearing afresh.

Accordingly the Review Petition is allowed and the judgment dated 12.03.2021 is recalled. The Writ Petition is restored to file.
