Antony Dominic, J.—After completing MBBS Petitioner was appointed in the Government Service being selected by the PSC. Thereafter he completed DNB course and in terms of the bond executed, he is to serve Government for one year. Case of the Petitioner is that in terms of Clause 10 of Ext.P2, those who have already served under the bond has no liability to serve any further. It is stated that since he has already rendered 4 years of service to Government he should be exonerated of the liability to serve under the bond obligation.

2.

It is evident from Clause 10 of Ext.P2 that the only category of employees who are exonerated of the liability to serve under the bond obligation are those who have already served the Government under bond obligation. On the other hand as far as the Petitioner is concerned, the period of service rendered by him was as a regular employee on being selected by the PSC. Such appointees will not get the protection of Clause 10 of Ext.P2. If that be so, Petitioner''s request to exonerate him from the bond obligation is of no merit. Writ Petition fails and is dismissed.
