Judgment
Aggrieved by the action of 2nd respondent-University in not considering and permitting the petitioner in the counselling for admission into BHMS course for the academic year 2021-2022 under ‘B’ and ‘C’ categories, the present Writ Petition is filed.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the lis in the present writ petition is squarely covered by the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.14422 of 2022 and 23.03.2022, and hence, seeks to pass similar order.
Sri A.Prabhakar Rao, learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent-University submits that two phases of counselling have already been concluded, and there is no further counselling for BHMS course, and that if there is any third or mop-up counselling or counselling for filling up stray vacancies, the case of the petitioner will be considered, in accordance with law.
Heard learned Government Pleader for Medical and Health, and Family Welfare for the 1st respondent.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, and the submissions of the learned counsel, the writ petition is disposed of as under:
“The petitioner is permitted to approach the 2nd respondent and submit her application along with original certificates by paying the requisite registration charges and service provider charges within a period of three days from today.
On receipt of such application, the 2nd respondent-University shall consider the case of the petitioner under ‘B’ and ‘C’ categories, in the next phase or mop-up counselling, or in the counselling for filling up of stray vacancies, if any, for admission into BHMS course for the academic year 2021-2022, in accordance with law, and take action thereon.”
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
