Judgment

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Advocate on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 and 2.
The Petitioner is before this court under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking for the following reliefs:
a. Issue a Writ in the nature of Mandamus and direct the respondent No. 2 to consider the Statement of Objections vide representation dated 24.04.2026 and pass order in accordance with law.
b. pass such other order/s, grant such relief/s as this Hon'ble High Court deems fit in accordance with Law.
Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that the statement of objections/representation dated 24.04.2026, submitted by the petitioner to the draft voters list published on 18.04.2026, shall be considered and appropriate order shall be passed if 10 days time is granted.
Said submission is placed on record.
Accordingly, the petition is allowed and a direction is issued to respondent No.2 to consider the statement of objections/representation dated 24.04.2026 vide Annexure-C and pass an appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, but not later than 10 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
