The petitioners are included in the rank list prepared and published by the Kerala Public Service Commission for appointment to the post of Project Officer (General Category) in Kerala State Co-operative Federation for Fisheries Development Limited (MATSYAFED).
Petitioner nos. 1, 2 and 4 in W.P.(C) No.31037/2023 and petitioner nos.1 and 2 in W.P.(C) No.15414/2024 who are higher in the rank in the merit list have already been advised for their appointment by the Kerala Public Service Commission. However, in respect of the 3rd petitioner in both the writ petitions, advice has not been given as the said petitioner's turn has not yet come.
Learned Counsel for the Kerala Public Service Commission submits that as and when the 3rd petitioner’s (in both writ petitions) turn comes, advice shall be given in respect of their appointment as well.
Considering the Kerala Public Service Commission's aforesaid stand, the writ petitions are disposed of with direction to the Kerala Public Service Commission to advise the MATSYAFED regarding the appointment of the third petitioner (in both writ petitions) as and when their turn comes for appointment.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petitions stand closed.
