The petitioner seeks issuance of direction to the respondent – authorities to grant parole to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that although he had submitted application dated 22.12.2023 (Annexure P-1), but the same has not been decided till date.

Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Munish Sharma, DAG, Haryana, upon whom an advance copy of petition had already been served, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State.

Learned State counsel submitted that the application dated 22.12.2023 (Annexure P-1), if already received, shall be duly considered and disposed of expeditiously.

In view of the aforestated position, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent – authority to consider and dispose of application dated 22.12.2023 (Annexure P-1) filed by the petitioner, if already received and if not already disposed of, at the earliest.

In case, any such application has not been received, it shall be open to the petitioner to file an application afresh. As and when any such application is filed, the respondent – authorities shall do the needful so as to ensure that the same is disposed of within a period 2 weeks from filing of such application.
