Judgment
The video clips prepared on behalf of the review Petitioners have been played in Court today. They indicate the exact location of the present pipeline of an extent of 280 meters running through the internal roads of the Om Vihar Colony.
Mr. S. K. Mishra, learned counsel appearing for the review Petitioners, states that it is possible for the said pipeline to be re-laid across the canal abutting the Colony without running through the Colony in a bended manner as it has presently been laid.
Learned counsel for the GAIL, on the other hand, informs the Court that between the date of disposal of the writ petition and the filing of the review petition, the pipeline through the Colony had already been laid although it has not yet been subject to safety audit. It is only thereafter that the gas supply will actually begin through it. He states that he will seek instructions on the suggestion of the review Petitioners that the pipeline could be re-laid across the canal abutting the colony.
The affidavit in this respect be filed by the GAIL before the next date.
