Judgment
Sabina, J
The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking mainly the following relief(s):-
"i) That the writ in the nature of mandamus may very kindly be issued, whereby directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for his transfer from District Kangra to District Bilaspur under 5% quota as per notification dated 27.09.2021 of State Govt., Annexure P-2.
ii) That the respondent No.2 may kindly be directed to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 02.10.2021, Annexure P-3 within time bound manner, as per notification dated 27.09.2021 of State Govt."
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is working as Language Teacher in Government Senior Secondary School Ghallour, District Kangra, H.P. since February 2011. The petitioner has sought his transfer from District Kangra to District Bilaspur under 5% quota as per notification dated 27.09.2021 (Annexure P-2). The petitioner has moved a representation to respondent No.2 for redressal of his grievance but no action has been taken on the same so far.
After hearing learned counsel for the parties, without adverting to the merits of the case, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to respondent No.2 to dispose of the representation dated 02.10.2021 (Annexure P-3) moved by the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
