1.

Petitioners have sought quashing of the FIR No.623/2017 of PS Dabri for offence under Section 498A/406/34 IPC on the ground that parties have compromised the disputes. All the petitioners and respondent no.2 have personally appeared and are identified by their respective counsel and Investigating Officer/SI Monu Kumari.

2.

I have spoken with the parties in Hindi.

3.

It is stated by the parties that they have compromised all disputes arising out of matrimony between petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2. The marriage between petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 already stands dissolved by way of decree of divorce dated 02.04.2025 obtained with mutual consent. Parties were not blessed with a child. Respondent no.2 submits that towards full and final settlement of all her claims including stridhan and alimony, she has already received from petitioner no.1 a total sum of Rs.7,00,000/- in terms with their settlement dated 28.01.2025 recorded in Counselling Cell, Family Courts. Respondent no.2 submits that she does not wish to pursue her complaint against the petitioners. Detailed statement of parties has already been recorded by the concerned Joint Registrar.

4.

Having spoken with the parties, I am satisfied that it would not be in the interest of justice to push them through trial.

5.

Therefore, the petition is allowed and accordingly, the FIR No.623/2017 of PS Dabri for offence under Section 498A/406/34 IPC as well as proceedings arising therefrom are quashed. Pending application stands disposed of.
