Judgment
Ajay Tewari, J.—This order shall dispose of CWP Nos. 17682, 17906, 17950, 18486, 20166, 20551 of 2008, 270 and 1473 of 2009.
In compliance with the order dated 25.3.2009, the petitioners appeared before the Secretary, Haryana Staff Selection Commission on 6.4.2009. Learned Counsel for the respondents has produced a report dated 9.4.2009 which is taken on record and Mark `A''. Copy of the same has also been supplied to counsel for the petitioners.
As per the aforesaid report, the Secretary has stated that the petitioners were not able to prove that they had submitted confidential result before the due date.
Counsel for the petitioners dispute this.
In my opinion, this is a factual matter which cannot be gone into by this Court in the exercise of extra-ordinary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
In the circumstances, these writ petitions are dismissed. The petitioners, if so advised, may agitate their claim(s) by way of approaching Civil Court.
Respondent No. 3-Haryana Staff Selection Commission is, however, directed to declare the result of the petitioners so that those persons who have not even made the cut may not go through the process of filing civil suits.
