Antony Dominic, J.—Petitioner appeared for the supplementary examination for the second semester B.A Communicative English subject English Literature (Part -II English Poetry). This examination was held as early as in May 2010. Results are not declared even now. It is complaining of the above, the writ petition is filed.

Learned standing counsel who has obtained instructions, submits that the University expects to have the results declared by March, 2011.

In my view, there is absolutely no justification for this kind of delay in declaring the results of an examination held in May, 2010.

In this case, the examination was held way backin May 2010 and almost nine months have already elapsed. Therefore, there cannot be any justification for any further delay. Therefore, I direct the University to expedite the valuation and declare the results, asexpeditiously as possible, at any rate, within six weeks of production of a copy of this judgment along with a copy of the writ petition.

Writ petition is disposed of as above.
