This writ petition is filed seeking directions to the respondents to finalize the tender proceedings initiated by Ext.P1, at the earliest, after obtaining necessary approval of the Municipal Council. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the tender, the petitioner has deposited 1/4th of the entire amount and the receipts are also produced. The learned counsel for the petitioner therefore contends that the tender is liable to be finalized and the matter has to be placed before the Municipal Council, which is meeting on 25.01.2023.
The learned standing counsel appearing for the Corporation submits that the issue with regard to the finalization of the tender can be considered in the next meeting of the Council.
The said submission is recorded. There will be a direction to the respondents to consider the issue of finalization of tender at the next meeting of the Municipal Council.
This writ petition is ordered accordingly.
