Vide the present petition, the petitioners seek directions thereby quashing the FIR No. 224/2010 registered at Police Station - Uttam Nagar and its consequential proceedings.
On the last date of hearing i.e. 26.09.2019, the petitioner paid an amount of Rs. 10,000/- in cash to the complainant, who was present in Court alongwith her father - Mr. Faghfur Ali.
On the said date, the petitioner had agreed to pay an amount of Rs. 20,000/- on the next date of hearing. Vide order dated 26.09.2019, complainant who was present on that day stated that her father will come on the next date of hearing and receive the amount of Rs. 20,000/- on her behalf. She further stated that she has no objection if the present petition is allowed thereafter.
The said amount of Rs. 20,000/- has been paid today in cash to the father of the complainant.
Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the parties, I hereby quash the 224/2010 registered at Police Station - Uttam Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating thereto.
The petition is allowed accordingly.
