Judgment
Dr. Sarojnei Saksena, J.—The petitioner is seeking transfer of the Ejectment Petition pending in the court of Rent Controller, Amritsar, on the ground that respondent is an Advocate in the Law Courts at Amritsar. No Advocate is appearing for him in the court of Rent Controller and that Rent Controller is giving short dates. Hence he apprehends that he will not get justice from that Court.
Learned counsel for the respondent states that there are two ejectment petitions filed by this landlord against the petitioner/tenant. The petitioner filed transfer petition against Rent Controller to get another rent petition filed by the respondent transferred to some other district. That transfer petition was dismissed by the High Court. Order is produced at Annexure R1. He further submits that in that transfer petition, petitioner''s grievance was that Rent Controller is giving long dates, while in this ejectment petition, his objection is that Rent Controller is giving short dates. In the earlier case, counsel is appearing for him.
Considering the above facts, I find no reason to transfer the ejectment petition.
Dismissed.
