This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.
Heard learned counsel for the Parties.
Perused the documents filed by the learned counsel for the State in Court today.
Apropos the order dated 21.10.2022 passed by this Court, the State has taken commendable steps in implementing the order of this Court. This Court appreciates the learned counsel for the State in taking proactive steps in helping the Petitioner who is a senior citizen and in an ailing condition and striving hard for her pensionary benefits.
However, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the previous colleges where the Petitioner was serving are not cooperating enough in regularizing the service period of the Petitioner and updating the pension papers.
Since proper steps have been initiated by the Opposite Party No.1/ State by issuing instructions to the respective colleges to regularize and update the pension papers of the Petitioner by 2nd May, 2023, it is imperative that the said colleges shall respond to the instructions and do the needful within a period of one week from today.
List this matter on 15th May, 2023.
A free copy of this order be handed over to the learned counsel for the State for compliance.
