Judgment
The petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.
The petitioner claims that other co-accused standing on the same footing have already been enlarged on bail. The memorandum of evidence filed on behalf of the State refers to the statements of several persons. The petitioner will be enlarged on bail upon furnishing security of Rs.10,000/- and personal release bond of equivalent value to the satisfaction of the appropriate court in Jhargram. However, the petitioner must attend the trial on every date fixed and any unexplained absence of the petitioner to attend the court will entitle the trial court to cancel the bail without reference to this Court.
