It is seen from the cause list that Mr.V.Venkatesaperumal, learned counsel, who is on record, has become a Judge in the Subordinate Court. His date of appointment is 11.10.2012. Presently, he is working as Principal Sub-Judge, Kumbakonam. Still his name has been shown in the cause list. The learned counsel / Judge neither has intimated before the Registry nor the Registry has taken notice of that, even after the issuance of appointment order. It is negligence on the part of both the learned counsel / Judge and also the Registry.
2.Therefore, the Registrar (Administration), Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai, is directed to issue a memo to the staff concern, who is responsible to not deleting the name of the learned counsel and also the Registrar (General), Madras High Court, Chennai, is directed to call for an explanation from the learned counsel / Judge as to why he has not intimated the same soon after getting appointment, that too in the judicial post to cancel his vakalat.
3.The Registry is directed to remove the name of the learned counsel, print the name of the appellant in the cause list and list the matter on 28.06.2022.
