According to the petitioner, she has filed a suit seeking declaration that the certificate of marriage registered on 26.05.2015 with the Registrar, be
declared null and void. The said suit is numbered as Original Suit No. 93 of 2021 before Additional Family Judge, Family Court, Rishikesh, District
Dehradun.
Petitioner has approached this Court seeking direction to the Court concerned to expedite hearing of the aforesaid suit.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has apprised this Court that notice issued by Court concerned has not been served upon the respondent. He
assures that necessary steps, for effecting service of notice upon the respondent, would be taken within one week.
Having regard to the facts of the case, writ petition is disposed of with a request to the Court concerned to make every endeavour to decide
Original Suit No. 93 of 2021, as expeditiously as possible, but not later than 18 months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
