Heard Mr. W. Khongsni, learned counsel appearing for the applicant, Ms. P.S. Nongbri, learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos. 1, 2, 3 & 6, Mr. H. Abraham, learned GA appearing for the respondent Nos. 4 – 5 and Mr. P. Nongbri, learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos. 7 – 8.
By this application, the applicant has sought for striking off the names of the writ petitioner Nos.2, 3, 5, 10, 11 and 13 from the array of parties in WP(C) No.62 of 2017.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the applicant that during the pendency of the writ petition, certain development took place and the writ petitioner Nos.2, 3, 5, 10, 11 and 13 are no longer interested in pursuing the matter. He, therefore, prays that the names of the aforesaid writ petitioners may be struck off from the array of parties in WP(C) No.62 of 2017.
The learned counsels appearing for the respondent have no objection.
In view of the above, this application stands allowed. The names of the writ petitioner Nos.2, 3, 5, 10, 11 and 13 are hereby struck off from the array of parties in WP(C) No.62 of 2017.
