The petitioner is employed as a Cleaning Staff with the 1^st respondent under the Karunya Arogya Suraksha Padhathi, and contends that she has been continuing from 2016 onwards and that her period of engagement will be over by 30.09.2026. The petitioner made a request as per Ext.P3 before the 1^st respondent seeking an extension of the period of her contract appointment. No action has been taken on the grievance raised by the petitioner.

Heard the learned Government Pleader also.

After hearing both sides, I am inclined to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the 1^st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3, after affording an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner. A decision in this regard shall be taken within an outer limit of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Till a decision is taken as directed above, the service of the petitioner shall not be terminated.
