Judgment

Prayer in the present petition is to issue directions to the respondents to release the petitioner on parole for 08 weeks to meet and look after his family and further to set aside the order dated 18.10.2022.
After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioner submits that since the rejection by the Superintendent was mechanical and virtually reproduction of the previous rejection order, as such he will be contended and satisfied that if be permitted to file a fresh representation and the same be decided by the concerned Inspector General of Prisons.
Given above, petitioner is permitted to file a fresh representation to the concerned Inspector General of Prison and given the rejection of the parole by the concerned Superintendent, it would be appropriate that the concerned Inspector General of Prison shall decide the representation of the petitioner, within 15 working days from the date of its receipt.
Order dated 18.10.2022, vide which the concerned Superintendent has rejected the parole, is hereby quashed. Pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
