Judgment
The petitioner has approached this Court seeking directions to revise his pensionary benefits taking note of the broken periods of aided school
service rendered by him as qualifying service. The issue raised in this writ petition is purely covered by the judgment of this Court in Sabu Mathew
v. State of Kerala (2017 (4) KLT 501).
In the above view of the matter, there will be a direction to the respondents to recompute the pensionary benefits due to the petitioner taking
note of the broken periods of aided school service rendered by him as qualifying service for pension. The petitioner shall file a representation
before the 2nd respondent showing the details of the broken periods of service put in by him. The 2nd respondent shall take up the matter and
recompute the pensionary benefits of the petitioner, taking note of the broken periods of approved aided school service as well. Orders in this
regard shall be passed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment and the monetary benefits shall also be
disbursed to the petitioner within one month thereafter. The writ petition is ordered accordingly.
