The above matter was posted to 18.01.2022. However, today the learned Counsel for the petitioner in the morning mentioned the above case and
informed us that the alleged detenue has returned to her parents. In such circumstances we directed the alleged detenue to be produced through
Video Conferencing (VC) from the jurisdictional Police Station, Kurathikkadu. We advance the case and posted it at 1.45 p.m.
The Station House Officer, Kurathikkadu, the 6th respondent facilitated the VC. The detenue told us that her mother was also present in the room.
We directed the Station House Officer to ask everybody in the room to go out, for facilitating interaction with the detenue. We interacted with the
detenue alone, in the presence of the Station House Officer. The subject told us that she was misled and enticed out of her house. A complaint is also
said to have been registered. The subject expresses her desire to go with her parents with whom she has returned now. We directed the Station
House Officer to permit the subject to go with her parents and also take further proceedings in accordance with law insofar as the complaint raised by
her.
Writ petition would stand closed.
