Instant misc. application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the applicant for extension of time of interim bail granted by this Court vide order dated 20.10.2023.
Counsel for the applicant submits that vide order dated 20.10.2023, this Court granted interim bail to the applicant for a period of sixteen days i.e. from 21.10.2023 to 05.11.2023 with certain conditions. Counsel submits that due to some unavoidable circumstances, the applicant could not fulfill the conditions as imposed in the order and therefore, he could not be released on interim bail granted by this Court, but now he is ready to fulfill all the conditions as imposed in the order dated 20.10.2023. Therefore, it is prayed that the interim bail period may be extended.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the material available on record.
The interim bail was granted to the applicant on the ground of death of his father and sister on 11.10.2023. One month period from the death of the applicant’s father and sister has already been passed. Therefore, there is no occasion to extend the period of interim bail granted to the applicant by this Court vide order dated 20.10.2023.
Hence, the criminal misc. application is rejected.
