The petitioners, who were working with the respondent-Corporation as Conductor and Inspector, respectively and retired as such on 30.09.2019
and 31.06.2019 (sic), have come up before this Court seeking release of their retiral benefits i.e. gratuity, leave encashment along with statutory
interest.
Notice. Mr. Ajay Chauhan, Advocate waives notice and accepts service on behalf of the respondents.
In view of the nature of the order, we propose to pass, no response is required from the respondents.
Given the prayers in the petition, let the respondents release the admissible retiral benefits, in accordance with law. The 50% of such benefits be
released within two weeks from today along with statutory interest accrued upon the entire amount and the remaining amount along with statutory
interest within two months thereafter. There shall also be a direction to the respondent-Corporation to file compliance report within three months from
today.
Given above, this petition is closed with the aforesaid directions. The petitioners shall be at liberty to approach this Court again, in case they still feel
aggrieved and dissatisfied. Pending application(s), if any, are closed.
