Gurmohan Singh vs State of H.P. and Others

Kurian Joseph, C.J.—The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:

(a) That directions may be issued to the Respondents to consider and hold D.P.C. with respect to the posts of Work Inspector and implement the recommendations of the said D.P.C.;

(b) That in the alternative, it is submitted that Respondents may kindly be directed to consider and decide the representation of the Petitioner, Annexure P.2 having been duly recommended to secure the ends of law and justice.

In view of the alternative relief prayed by the Petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second Respondent/competent Authority to take appropriate action on Annexure P-2 in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of production of a copy of this judgment alongwith a copy of the writ petition by the Petitioner. We make it clear that we have not adverted to the merits of the contentions taken by the Petitioner and issues are to be considered by the Competent Authority only at this stage.

The writ petition is disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
