K.C. Puri, J.—This is a petition u/s 482 Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing FIR No. 101 dated 2.6.2009, under Sections 307, 427, 34 IPC (Offence u/s 307 IPC stands deleted from the FIR) registered at Police Station Phase 8, Mohali, on the basis of compromise.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner has submitted that FIR also contain offence u/s 25/54/59 of the Arms Act, which may also be added.

The prayer stands allowed. Necessary correction be made.

The report of the trial Court was called for. The report has been received in which it is mentioned that parties have arrived at a compromise.

Learned State counsel has stated at the Bar that offence u/s 307 IPC has been deleted. Remaining offences are under Sections 427/34 IPC and 25/54/59 of the Arms Act.

The dispute is personal in nature, which has been settled.

So, in view of compromise and in view of authority reported as Kulwinder Singh and Ors. v. State of Punjab and Ors. 2007 (3) RCR 1052, the FIR No. 101 dated 2.6.2009, under Sections 427, 34 IPC, 25/54/59 of Arms Act, (Offence u/s 307 IPC stands deleted from the FIR) registered at Police Station Phase 8, Mohali, stands quashed. Further proceedings, in pursuant to that FIR also stand quashed.
