Judgment
Rakesh Kumar Garg, J.—This is landlord''s revision petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India for issuing directions to the Rent Controller, Amritsar, to decide the eviction petition filed by him expeditiously and preferably in a time bound frame.
The instant petition was filed by the Petitioner on 10.05.2010. Admittedly, the provisional rent has already been assessed vide order dated 25.11.2010 and thereafter the evidence has been led. In fact, it has been admitted before this Court that the Petitioner has already led his evidence and now Respondent-tenant is leading the evidence. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner has also shown to this Court a certified copy of order dated 27.05.2011 which shows that on that date the Respondent-tenant had tendered into evidence his affidavit as examination-in-chief and his cross-examination has been deferred because of the request of the counsel for the Petitioner.
In this viewof the matter, since the Rent Controller is already proceeding with the case. No directions are required, at this stage.
Dismissed.
