Judgment
Kanwaljit Singh Ahluwalia, J.—Mr. Anil Kumar Sharma, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, appearing for Respondents No. 1 to 6, submits that the written statement, on behalf of Respondents No. 1 to 6, was filed in the Registry, but somehow the same is not made part of the paper book. Mr. Sharma further submits that Respondent No. 3-Divisional Deputy Director, Rural Development and Panchayat, vide order dated 10.11.2010 (Annexure R1), has redressed the grievance of the Petitioner-Panchayat, for proper apportionment of the land and for distribution of the assets of three Gram Panchayats, which are bifurcated out of one Gram Panchayat.
Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner-Panchayat be granted liberty to assail the order (Annexure R1) by taking recourse to the appropriate remedy, in accordance with the provisions of law. He further submits that the Petitioner be permitted to raise all the arguments available, including those which have been raised in the present writ petition.
In view of the order dated 10.11.2010 (Annexure R1), passed by Respondent No. 3, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous and the same is dismissed as such with liberty, as aforesaid.
