Heard the appellant in person through Video Conferencing.

He has argued that he has received a sum of Rs.33,68,811/- and submitted that a sum of Rs.89,898/- has not been paid to him which was the interest on the fixed deposit with this Commission.

Based upon the report obtained from the Registry, it is seen that the judgment debtor had deposited a sum of Rs.30,00,000/- vide DD no. 952954 dated 10.09.2020 which had been converted into FDR no.550489 dated 25.09.2020 with Canara Bank, INA Colony, New Delhi. This FD had been terminated in terms of the order of this Commission dated 18.07.2022. On 04.08.2022 a sum of Rs.32,58,811/- including the principal amount and interest accrued on Rs.30,00,000/- has been paid to the appellant.

In view of this report, it is seen that there is no fixed deposit or interest thereon which has to be paid to the appellant/ decree holder in terms of the judgment.

The review application no.280 of 2023 is therefore, found to be without merits and is accordingly dismissed.
