I.A. No.01 of 2023
An application for stay has been preferred by the Petitioner.
Respondents No.1 and 3 have filed their reply. Rejoinder thereto has also been filed.
On 22.09.2023, after hearing learned Senior Counsel for the Petitioner, Notices had been issued in the Writ Petition as well as in the Stay Application.
The issues sought to be raised in the Writ Petition require consideration.
Counter-Affidavit has not been filed as, according to the learned Deputy Solicitor General of India, in the meanwhile, the Petitioner has preferred an application for amendment of the Writ Petition, which is pending adjudication.
Mr. Tarun Gulati, learned Senior Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner is willing to file reply to the show-cause notice if the authorities do not take adverse steps as per the show-cause notice issued by them during pendency of the Writ Petition.
The learned Deputy Solicitor General of India assures that no such adverse steps shall be taken if reply to the show-cause is filed by the Petitioner.
In such view of the matter, let the Petitioner file reply to the show-cause within six weeks from today.
In view of the specific assurance given by the learned Deputy Solicitor General of India on behalf of Respondents No.1 and 3 that no adverse steps would be taken by them during the pendency of the Writ Petition, no orders need to be passed in the Stay Application. Needless to say, no final orders shall be passed by the Respondents No.1 and 3 until the Writ Petition is decided.

The learned Deputy Solicitor General of India desires to file response to I.A. No.02 of 2023 seeking amendment.
Two weeks, as prayed for, is granted.
In view of the ensuing winter vacation, list thereafter.
