Antony Dominic, J.—The Petitioner is the husband of a lady by name Ramya, daughter of the 5th Respondent. In this Writ Petition, the allegation of the Petitioner is that she has been illegally detained by Respondents 4 and 5, her uncle and father and it is on that basis, the reliefs are sought.

2.

Today, Smt. Ramya appeared before us with her child. To our question, she answered that she left the house of her husband for delivery and was living in the maternal home. According to her, she now lives with her friend, at Neeleswaram. We also asked her whether she is under the detention of Respondents 4 and 5 or anybody else. In answer, she told us that she is not under the detention of anybody and that she resides at the present place on her own volition.

3.

Since the alleged detenue has made the statement as recorded by us, in the absence of any material to the contrary, we are unable to find any substance in the allegation made by the Petitioner regarding the detention of Smt. Ramya.

The Writ Petition is hence dismissed.
