Judgment

The present writ petition has been preferred with the following prayer:-
"That the respondents may be ordered to fix pay of the petitioner w.e.f. 1.1.2004 and pay him the arrears w.e.f. 1.1.2009 till January, 2014 with all the benefits incidental thereof."
Having gone through the averments made in the instant writ petition as also the documents annexed therewith, it appears that the petitioner has straight away approached this Court and has not made any demand/representation to the respondents to release the service benefits.
In view of the above, we deem it proper to dispose of the present writ petition by permitting the petitioner to make a representation before the respondent-competent authority for releasing his service benefits, within a period of two weeks from today. On making such representation on behalf of the petitioner, the respondent-competent authority is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders in the matter, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks.
With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of, so also pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
