The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent to take legal action on his notice dated 17.02.2026.
As per petitioner, he has expertise in cleaning overhead water reservoirs (water tanks). The petitioner on the asking of respondents carried out water tank cleaning work. He asked respondent to make payment, however, Gram Panchayat refused to pay his charges. The Block Development and Panchayat Officer (BDPO), Majri vide letter dated 01.04.2025 asked Sarpanches of Gram Panchayats to make payment of bills. The petitioner vide letter dated 28.10.2025 requested Director, Rural Development and Panchayats to clear his bills in respect of cleaning water tanks. The petitioner has filed repeated reminders but to no avail.
Learned State counsel submits that competent authority would consider petitioner’s representation and pass an appropriate order within two months from today.
Learned counsel for the petitioner agrees to the aforesaid arrangement.
In the wake of statement of both sides, this petition stands disposed of.
Pending Misc. application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
