Judgment
The challenge in this OA is the arbitrary reduction of pension of the applicant, who was compulsorily retired on 9.11.2021. Annexures A-1 & A-2 are under challenge. The applicant wants restoration of full pension. During the pendency of this OA, it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the applicant that Additional Central P.F. Commissioner has issued direction to Respondent No.3 for taking necessary action to sanction full compensation pension to the applicant.
A copy of the communication dated 10.08.2023 sent by the Additional Central P.F. Commissioner to Respondent No.3 has been produced by the learned counsel for the applicant.
In the light of this communication dated 10.08.2023, no doubt Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 have to take necessary steps for restoring the pension of the applicant. The Respondent No.2 is directed to complete the process within 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this direction the OA is disposed of. No costs.
