Mr. Das, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, his client is a poor vendor. His client made representation dated 22nd November, 2007 to the Commissioner requesting for grant of Kiosk. He submits, his client has been carrying on doing business and made further representation but to no avail.

Facing continuous threat of eviction his client has moved this Court for direction upon the Municipality to consider his client’s case under section 20 of Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014. He submits, his client has a street vending certificate.

Mr. Das prays for similar direction as made by coordinate Bench on order dated 11th January, 2022 in WP(C) no.30866 of 2021 (Mansoor Ahmad v. State of Odisha and others) on submission, his client is similarly placed with petitioner therein.

Mr. Babu, learned advocate, Additional Government Advocate appears on behalf of State.

Issue notice along with this order on opposite party no.3 by registered/speed post with AD. Petitioner will put in requisites.
