The petitioner society is represented by its Secretary.
The petitioner has requested for sanction of one post each of Branch Manager, Clerk and Peon for their branch, through application dated 23.5.2016. Since there was some defects, after curing the application was resubmitted. The petitioner approached this Court with a Writ Petition and in compliance of the said judgment, the 1st respondent issued order sanctioning the posts of Branch Manager and Clerk. Since no post of peon was sanctioned, the petitioner submitted Ext.P1 application on 23.6.2023 before the 1st respondent and it is still pending.
The counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to dispose of Ext.P1 within a time frame.
Having heard the counsel for the petitioner and the Government Pleader, I deem it appropriate to direct the respondents to take up Ext.P1 and dispose of the same, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate, within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
