Dr Kauser Edappagath, J

1.

The 1st accused in Crime No.383/2022 of Ernakulam Central Police Station has filed this application for anticipatory bail.

2.

The offence alleged against the petitioner is punishable under Section 498A of the IPC.

3.

The petitioner is the husband of the de facto complainant. The remaining accused, who are the parents of the petitioner, were already granted anticipatory bail.

4.

This Court granted an interim order of anticipatory bail to the petitioner on 04.05.2022. It is made clear in the said order that the investigating officer is free to interrogate the petitioner during the bail period.

5.

The learned Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation is over and the final report has already been filed.

In these circumstances, I am of the view that this Bail Application can be disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to appear before the jurisdictional Magistrate and to seek for regular bail. If such an application is filed, the Magistrate shall grant bail to the petitioner on such conditions as he deems fit to impose.
