Judgment
Devan Ramachandran, J
When this matter was called today, Sri.K.R.Premjith Kumar – learned Central Government Counsel, submitted that final orders of punishment has not been issued against the petitioner and that if this Court is inclined only to direct the learned Central Administrative Tribunal to dispose of the Original Application itself on its merits, then action for the same can be deferred until the end of this month.
Sri.K.Jaju Babu – learned Senior Counsel, instructed by Smt.M.U.Vijayalakshmi – learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that his client will be satisfied if the afore undertaking is recorded.
In the afore circumstances, we allow this Original Petition, without entering into the merits of any of the rival contentions; and recording the afore undertaking of the learned Central Government Counsel, that the final order of punishment against the petitioner will not be issued until 30.05.2023.
Axiomatically, we request the learned Central Administrative Tribunal to dispose of the Original Application within the said time frame.
