T.R. Ramachandran Nair, J.—The Petitioner is presently working as Professor in charge of Principal, Government Ayurveda College, Kannur. She is a permanent resident of Thrikkakara North Village, Ernakulam District. The Petitioner seeks for a direction to the 1st Respondent to consider Exhibit P6 representation in accordance with the guidelines for transfer for Government employees issued as per G.O.(P) No. 15/89/P&ARD dated 22.5.1989. It is pointed out that the post of Principal in the Government Ayurveda College, Tripunithura will be vacant from 1.4.2011 and the Petitioner is seeking for a transfer to the said vacancy. The Petitioner has already moved the 1st Respondent by filing Exhibit P6 representation.

It is pointed out by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner that the representation is not being acted upon in the light of the fact that it is an advance copy and the copy which was forwarded through proper channel has not reached the 1st Respondent. It is the case of the Petitioner that the representation submitted through proper channel has been kept in the Directorate without forwarding it to the Government.

In the light of the above submission, there will be a direction to the 1st Respondent to take a decision on Exhibit P6 representation after considering the claims of the Petitioner also along with the claims of any other claimants, before filling up the vacancy. The Petitioner will produce a copy of the Writ Petition along with a copy of this judgment before the 1st Respondent for compliance.

The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
