Aggrieved by Notification of 5th June, 2017 (Annexure P-8), petitioner made a Representation (Annexure P-11) to respondent-Medical Council of

India on 23rd September, 2017, which, according to petitioner, has not been responded to. Copy of Representation (Annexure P-10) is said to have

been sent on 25th September, 2017 to Oversight Committee mandated by Supreme Court of India.

Upon notice, learned counsel for respondent-MCI submits that if Representation (Annexure P-11) has not been already responded to, then it would

be decided within a period of four weeks from today and the decision so taken on the Representation (Annexure P-11) would be got approved by the

Oversight Committee mandated by Supreme Court of India within four weeks thereafter and the fate of Representation (Annexure P-11) would be

conveyed to petitioner within a week thereafter, so that petitioner may avail of the remedies, as available in law, if need be. Till it is so done, status quo

as of today in respect of petitioner’s service be maintained.

With aforesaid directions, this petition and the applications are disposed of.

Copy of this order be given dasti to counsel for the parties.
